Beating the Heat
We’re “beating the heat” at Gold-Plated Gundogs with the installation of a 'Mister System’ in the kennels. The mister system lowers the air temperature by 20 degrees to the dogs in the kennels. The mister system is fed with cool Georgia spring water taken straight to the kennels from our own underground fresh water spring.
After a morning of Retriever Training, your dog relaxes in front of large fans with a cool spring water mister system overhead during the hottest time of the day. You can rest assured that the safety and comfort of your beloved dog is our top priority, especially in the summer months where we take precautions to avoid heat related illnesses.

Teaching Kids the Love of Retrievers

In May, Brian Szczech and his team of lovable Hunter Retriever Champions
will again be putting on his annual Retriever demonstration at the
Pine Log Elementary School in Rydal, Georgia. The kid’s field
day Retriever demonstration is well attended, usually by over 400 kids.
