Gold-Plated Gundogs Retriever Training Facility

Gold-Plated Gundogs is a custom-built, Retriever training facility designed for one thing only–to develop outstanding waterfowl and gun dog Retrievers in the most realistic hunting environments possible. Located in the picturesque mountain region of north Georgia outside of Atlanta, Gold-Plated Gundogs trains in all types of hunting conditions consisting of fields, woodlands and water terrain.

Safe, Clean and Secure Kennels The newly-built, 20-pen kennels are fully covered and installed on a cement base to allow for maximum airflow while keeping the dogs acclimated to the weather. Each pen is kept spotless with regular pressure washings every day. The care, comfort and security of your dog are our utmost concern. We feed and recommend Purina Pro Adult Performance formulas.

Overhead Mister Cooling System

During the hot summer months, the kennels at Gold-Plated Gundogs are cooled by an overhead mister system. The mister system lowers the air temperature to the dogs by at least 20 degrees, keeping them cool and relaxed after an early morning session of Retriever Training.

Varied Terrain Builds Better Gun Dogs

In addition to the acreage at the training facility, our ideal location provides access to thousands of additional acres of private and public land and water. We believe that varied terrain and new locations produce a better prepared gun dog.

When it’s time to train off-site, the dogs travel in a one-of-kind Jones gooseneck dog trailer. The trailer is equipped with 16 boxes, two ceiling exhaust fans, air conditioning, full insulation and a radio for the dog’s listening pleasure.

Central Location

Gold-Plated Gundogs is a convenient one-day drive or short flight from major population centers in the eastern and central United States. Located in White, Georgia, we are a 1 ½ hour drive north from the Atlanta International Hartsfield-Jackson airport just off of Interstate I-75.

Dogs are air shipped regularly to the Atlanta airport and personally picked up and driven to the Retriever training facility by Brian. For more information on air shipment of your dog for training at Gold-Plated Gundogs, contact us.
